I'd like to thank the academy.....

This album was not so much 'composed' as it was discovered. We recorded and produced it using the following: 2 pc's, a violin, an infinite number of monkeys, an almost infinite number of Pan Galactic Gargle-Blasters, a decidedly not-so-infinite number of second takes, and an instrument called the cellitar. While running the continual fatal risk of becoming permanently bogged down, we managed to make clever use of wave recordings, samples, loops and MIDI. And somehow, impossibly, we did it. I think. Sitting here beside the drained pool in the courtyard with Herme and Little Julio, looking back on it all, I just don't know what to believe anymore....
